Me after a comic book haul
One of my favorite things to add to my book shelves and to collect are comic books dated any year preceding the year 2000. I do have to say I am partial to the ones dated in the 80's because of my own personal love affair with the decade for most media of the time honestly but the art style and artist of the time just speak to the nostalgia parts of my brain, so warm and comforting. I can just see myself spending so many hours in the comic book stores that unfortunately no longer exist and my heart breeeaaakkksss BUT I'm still always on the hunt for a new shop and always loyal to my favs ;) and if you're looking for gems seriously hit up those local comic shops and used book stores :D
