Custom Gify Pet

Step by step tutorial for customizing your own GifyPet! All links open in new tabs :)

1.Finding Your Pet

 To find a pixel GIF, I highly recommend Pinterest! There are definitely a few ways you can format your search, but I have also linked one of my boards below with a selection of pixel GIF ideas :) once you find the pet you want download the image to the device you’re using

Note: I have found that white backgrounds are easier to remove :) also some gifs will look like they have a white background but the background has already been removed! That will be mentioned below in step #3 :)

2.Formatting Your Pet

If you don’t have one already create a Canva profile it’s free!

Click here to sign up —-> Canva Sign-Up

After creating a profile what you will want to do is create a custom sized project and make it 80X80 px.

Import your file, largen if needed, center on canvas, and save as a GIF instead of the suggested MP4 Video.

3. Next step is ezgif .com to remove the colored background from your gif
Click here —-> Ezgif Background Remover

From here you will upload your file

Select the color of your background to remove
Note: If you upload your gif and it has a grey checkered background then it the background has already been removed and you can move on to the next step :)

Click submit!

When you're finished save to your files :)

4. Convert Your File Into An HTTPS Link
Once saved go to Catbox
Click here —->Catbox
Upload your file and copy the https link created

Go back to the Gify Pet creator,
Click here —->Gify Pet Home
make sure to select 'custom' in the drop down box, then paste your link from catbox into the custom image type box.

Note: If you want a custom map image or background image use the catbox website to convert your image to the https link and copy/paste in the matching image type box.

After customizing you can copy and paste your link in to the HTML/Javascript gadget like any other HTML/Javascript code. If you need help with adding an HTML/Javascript
check out this page Click here —->How To Add A Widget Code
Note: You can change the ‘Element’ type by editing the code where it says “m&element=Air&pet’ by replacing Air,Water,Fire or Earth with a different word/element.
Hope this helped!<3
Enjoy my favorite Gify Pets created :')
